Clinical Evaluation for the Analgesic Effect of Sodium Meclofenamate (Melvon^(®)) in the Neurosurgical Field

Abstract
|
|
|
To evaluate the analgesic effect and safety of Sodium Meclofenamate (Melvon®). in the neurosurgical field, 80 patients with painful conditions were treated with 100 mg of Sodium Meclofenamate (Melvon®) t.i.d. by mouth for 14 days.
Good analgesic effect was noted in 73% of headache, in 76% of back pain, in 76% of nuchal pain. Adverse reactions, mainly. gastronitestinal, were reported by 5% of patients.
The result of the study indicated that Sodium Meclofenamate (Melvon®) was effective and safe in the treatment of painful conditions in the neurosurgical field.
